Bet on Pokemon Go at Sportsbet
Various bets are not available to punters at Sportsbet, including, amongst others, how long will it take Pokemon Go to become the top selling app on iTunes, will it beat the number of users of Twitter in 2016, which politician of the Australian Parliament will be the first to play the game or which venue in the country will be the first to ban the use of the app. The list includes such locations as Canberra’s War Memorial, National Library, Rookwood cemetery, St Mary’s Cathedral and Parliament House.
There are already multiple instances of the game being banned or strongly discouraged, e.g. in the US war veteran cemetery Arlington or Poland’s Auschwitz memorial museum.
While it’s not currently possible, the developer of Pokemon Go, Niantic, has confirmed that retailers and restaurants will be able to pay to have sponsored locations and to create their own pokestops and gyms, to give players inventive to come and visit them.
Pokemon Go is an augmented reality game, based on the incredibly popular franchise from Nintendo, which includes video games, card game, tv series, movies, toys and much more. The game overlays the real world with Pokemon which people can catch, train and evolve to participate in fights to control gyms scattered throughout the map and visit pokestops to replenish their supplies. The app has launched barely a week ago and is already the top grossing app in the US and Australia and has become one of the most popular topics across all types of social media. It was also just released in the UK where it’s also expected to conquer the market. Some are saying the game has already beaten Twitter in daily Android users.
