Golden Gaming International opens in India

The new Golden Gaming International (GGI) website is available only to customers located in the small north-west state of Sikkim, as the access is blocked for the rest of India. The centre was opened by Kapil Dev, Indian cricketing legend.

The Sikkim government has authorised four gaming and lottery licences – to Sugal and Damani Group, GGI, Essel Group’s Playwin, and Future Gaming Group.

“The Sikkim venture is the first such initiative in the country, and we hope that other states also follow our unique model and legalise online sports betting too,” said Manoj Sethi, director of GGI.
