The Swedish-based casino software provider will now be able to supply its premium content to all online channels for gaming operators in Romania’s recently regulated market.

The move to receive a gaming licence in the country followed significant demand for Play’n GO’s award-winning premium content from clients based in the eastern European country.

“This is a landmark day for the company and we are delighted to have been awarded a gaming licence for Romania, a growing market that we have had our eyes on for some time,” Johan Törnqvist, CEO of Play’n GO, said.

“We have a long line of parties interested in our premium, best-in-class content and we can’t wait to see the joy on Romanian player’s faces as they interact with our games for the first time.”
